To help you evaluate our quotation we wish to bring the following points to your attention:
Particular Specification Points
The above price does not include V.A.T.
No allowances have been made for any builders or electrical works.
Where required ventilation fans will be passed to the main contractor for installation within the structure
All loose controls will be passed to the Electrical Contractor for field wiring.
There is sufficient capacity on the existing boiler to meet the required load of the new radiators.
Ventilation has only been allowed to for the rooms identified in the Mechanical Services Specification.
No temporary gas or water supplies have been allowed for the duration of the project.
Increasing incoming utility supplies to accommodate new load demands.
No Lead works.
No decoration whatsoever
No sanitary-ware installation has been allowed for
No white goods, connections only
To supply and install all the soil & vent and waste systems above slab only.
No rainwater.

Validity
This offer shall remain open for acceptance for a period of 6 weeks from the date of this tender.
We would require a minimum of 3 weeks notice from the date of written acceptance of this tender, or from receipt of such drawings and information as are agreed by us as being sufficient, to commence work on site.
Our tender is based upon our being able to complete the works within our unimpeded working time, provided that all drawings and information are supplied in compliance with a previously agreed programme and enabling us to proceed to the planned completion date.
Fixed Price
Our tender is fixed for the duration of the enclosed completion and acceptance period and would be subject to increased cost should these dates expire.
Bond
Our tender excludes any provision for a performance bond.
General Conditions
A This tender does not include the cost of any Value Added Tax which may become chargeable on the work.
B Our tender has been based upon free use of all facilities and unrestricted access being available to enable our works to be carried out during our
standard working week of five days commencing 08.00 hours and finishing at 16.30 hours Monday to Friday. Any deviation from this would result in an increase to our tender sum.
C We have accepted and based our tender on the materials and information stated in the Tender Specification and Drawings. Our responsibility covers only the procurement, installation, setting to work and commissioning of the equipment specified.
E Where work has been described within the specification but not quantified or scheduled out, we have only allowed for the extent detailed on the tender drawings. Any work executed within this category during the contract, which is not detailed on the tender drawings will become variations to our contract.
F We have made no allowance for the provision of any samples, spares or factory witness tests
G We have allowed for a 12 Month warranty period on parts and labour for all equipment supplied and installed by ourselves from the date of practical completion. This assumes that the system is maintained in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
Attendance's
The main contractor to provide the following attendances free of charge. These may be in addition to attendance's given under our sub-contract:
- 1) General Welfare facilities.
- 2) Cutting, forming or leaving holes and chases in walls or floors as indicated on our builders work drawings or as marked on site as appropriate, together with making good of same.
- 3) Removal of all excess material and rubbish from a central location on site.
- 4) Adequate safety lighting to be provided to all working areas and passage ways.
- 5) Datum levels to be clearly marked for finished floor levels in each working area.
- 6) Sufficient 110 volt electrical socket outlets to be provided in each work area for power for hand tools for all employees in order for us to comply with your programme.
- 7) Fuel & water for testing, commissioning and site accommodation.
- 8) Payment of all Statutory Authority charges.
- 9) Protection of our installed equipment in vulnerable areas.
- 10) Concreting or pointing of any description.
- 11) Sealing around Sanitaryware with sealant.
- 12) Fire stopping and general making good.
- 13) Only written variations to the contract works will be accepted with the price agreed prior to works being undertaken.
